Mark your calendars for August 2-3-4, 2013! Shipbuilders Credit Union presents Lakeshore Weekend   The Shipbuilders Credit Union presents Lakeshore Weekend 2012 committee members met to officially wrap up the three-day event held in early August 2012 and is thrilled to announce that 2012’s event raised $61,000! Additional fundraising efforts were made throughout the year with all monies raised also donated to the event, including an amazing donation from the annual Zombie Walk. With that, the event's 22 year total for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is $1,162,000! Present for the check donation to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, from left to right: Sheri Lau of Shipbuilders Credit Union, Randy Heinzen, Chair of the event, Heidi Schade of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, and Mike Steimle of Shipbuilders Credit Union. Thank you to all the volunteers, committee members, friends, family and community for their support! Each year, more than 2,500 visits are made to Children's Hospital by Manitowoc County children. This event is dedicated solely to the care and treatment of those children, with all proceeds benefiting the hospital.
